HONGKONG Adventure: Day 3 (part 2)

After we went to Ocean Park, we went to The Peak and Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. The Peak is a place on top of a building. It has shopping areas, dining places and is also where Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum is located. You can actually see almost all of Hongkong there. It was beautiful at night, but it was so, so cold!

A lot of people are waiting for the tram to arrive.

It was so so cold!

Then we went to the Wax Museum.

My dream of having a picture taken with Rob Pattinson has now come true! Fangirl right here :)

My cousin pretended to be a wax figure to fool other people coming in the museum. He would stay still and when a person takes a picture of him, he would move. It was such a laugh! He actually fooled a good handful of people :))

Madame Tussaud.

Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of pictures. I was so busy taking pictures of my cousins and titas. But, it was so fun. There was also a mini Scream House there. We decided to come in. We were the last ones for the night. The people scaring us were almost too tired to do their job. I wasn't that much scared, but I did scream. That day was so tiring but also so fun! :)

HONGKONG Adventure: Day 3 (part 1)

The next day, we went to Ocean Park Hongkong. We rode a 2 story bus there. I think we arrived at around 10am. Us "youngsters" were so excited to go through all the rides. They had plenty here. Ocean park is located in mountains, so we had to travel through cable car or an underground train. To make the best out of the great view, we decided to take the cable car. We got maps and saw their many attractions! I don't think we had time to go around the whole park! :)

That's us on the cable car!

Amazing view :)

We first went to ride the Hair Raiser. It's a roller coaster and had one big loop. It was such a rush after riding this!

This was my favorite. I think it was called Flash. The ring rotates and the arm goes 180 degrees at the same time. We went upside down for about 4 times. It was so fun!

Unfortunately, I only have a few pictures of the rides. We were so busy making the most out of the day cause we had to leave around 6pm cause we were still going to The Peak (which I will blog about a little bit later!). Anyway, we rode a ride that was similar to Log Jam in Enchanted Kingdom. I was the one in front. I was so afraid of getting wet cause I didn't bring extra clothes that I bought a rain coat. I ended up getting the lower half of my body getting wet! I was literally walking around in wet jeans! We also went to another roller coaster, and other fearful rides. Haha. It was so fun! :)

HONGKONG Adventure: Day 2

Finally! A trip to Disneyland! :) Such a magical place to be in. Brought me back to my childhood. You see, I am a 90's kid, and it was said that we are the last generation to experience the "epic-ness" of Disney. To be honest, there aren't anymore good shows in Disney. Anyway, it was really a flashback for me, and I can't help but cry cause I'm really fortunate enough to be here. I can't tell you how happy I am being here. Such a wonderful place! :)

We enjoyed the parade so much! :)

We got our maps, went around and had magical fun!

We went to tomorrow land and rode the Space Mountain about 4 times. We just can't get enough of it! We also tried Buzz Lightyear, 2 times.

We also went to their new attraction, Toy Story Land. We also rode the Race Car (which was my fave by the way!) and the Parachute.

The white dots were actually fake snow. How cool is that? :)

The fireworks! I was tear-eyed the whole time. It was so wonderful. This is the part where my whole childhood came crashing to me. So happy.

I just can't say enough how fortunate I am to have the opportunity to come here. Thanks Disneyland Hongkong for reminding me how happy my childhood's been! :)

HONGKONG Adventure: Day 1

We had to leave for Hongkong the next morning - said our goodbyes to Aaron and Marissa, the wonderful couple who welcomed us to their home, and our tour guides. Little Yan Yan even cried. We took a ferry to Hongkong for almost an hour and when we arrived, it was quite a busy city. Lots of people walking around and maybe doing some errands before New Year. We went directly to our accommodation, rested for a bit and headed straight to the bay. We were supposed to watch fireworks there. My cousin from Australia also met us there.

We had to sit on the floor cause the whole place was packed with people. That corner was the coziest place there cause it was so cold.

We all made a lot of noise to welcome 2012; banging, shouting and even playing around. We didn't enjoy the fireworks much cause for us it was so bitin. But yeah, we had the company of each other so it was pretty awesome. WELCOME 2012! :)
